Dolphin Discovery Playa del Carmen

This activity is 10 miles from Playa de Carmen so unless you are driving your own vehicle or know how to navigate local transportation prepare to over pay for a taxi. I rode the local bus to the highway entrance of the resort from playa for 30 pesos and they wanted me to pay 250 pesos to pay for a taxi from the gated Highway entrance to about a mile and a half to the resort. Once I got there they told me that I had to make a reservation and acted like they had never heard of ResortPass. After waiting around 10-15 minutes they finally agree to let me attend the activity. The activity was fun but you won’t be “swimming” with the dolphins unless you upgrade by paying for a higher tier package. I asked about the lunch that was “included” and they tried to give me a 100 peso coupon to use. After reading the description over I asked again about the free lunch and was told they don’t do that anymore. I asked about trans back to the highway and was told I had to take a taxi for $10(bc trapped)
