Shade Hotel Manhattan Beach

I love both Shade hotels (Redondo and Manhattan) neither could go wrong. It was a wonderful day because although it was overcast, the oversized jacuzzi pool was just perfect. Not too hot, but not cold. Pair that with champagne and fruit platter and it was a lil slice of heaven. 


Neighborhood Gem!

I have stayed at this location as a guest before, used resortpass here before. I called the day prior to ask the front desk if the hot tub was operational. They stated yes. I made my reservation & showed up the next day, hot tub was cold. I stayed for an hour, hot tub still cold. Asked the front desk, they stated its usually not cold. Did they make it cold just for me? I do not understand. Please refund me. Thank you.

The pool area is quite small.  I agree that might be a good thing for some but the pool also is very small.  I thought it was a jacuzzi.  The staff was pleasant and the check in was quite easy.  There is an open shower area at pool deck with a shower curtain but I would suggest using one of the unisex bathrooms that are located inside right before accessing the pool if you want to change clothes.  
The lunch was good but very expensive.

The Shade Hotel Manhattan Beach is in a great location! Easy access to the beach, lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my summer Friday at the Shade :) 

Summer Friday! 

I was in between Hotel checkout time and waiting for evening flight. They stored my bag for me while i walked around the beach, eve opened the door on my uber! amazing place!

Remodeled rooftop which is nice and staff is super attentive. One star off as I had to ask for the pool heater to turn on and took a while to heat up. Small pool for my little one and amazing burger. 

Chill Saturday 

Great vibes at the Shade Hotel Pool.  Great music.  Amazing service.  Beautiful pool.  Totally worth it to get a day pass.

LOVE

We had a perfect day by the pool at the Shade Hotel. 

The resort pass was very reasonable and the package with 6 beers for $60 was basically what we would have spent at a bar anyway.

We had brunch by the pool. The Frittata was cooked perfectly and the fruit was supper fresh.

On top of all of that Emma gave us 5 star service.

We will definitely be back!
