Dreams Cozumel Cape Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

I never write reviews but my experience warrents me doing so as it was not good.  The bartenders did not want to serve you, at an all inclusive, unless you had money in hand to tip.  The pool is very small and dated. The children's slide had rust on many sections, so it is not maintained. The beach is small and not well maintained with damaged lounge chair and others with no shade.  The Explorers Club, smelled old and of mildew with what seemed few activities. Finally, one person in my party was turned away at the pizzeria for not having appropriate attire, her daughter had on no shoes at a beach, so she had to order and eat outside. No kid friendly options and no modifications. The buffet shuts down to restock food, which was OK, but not kid friendly options. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Secluded set back

Everything was great. Food was plentiful and delicious. We got chairs by the pool without issue. Checking was quick and easy. 
Beach is very nice - rocky in the water - definitely need water shoes. But so many fish to see just walking out!

Amazing experience at dreams Cozumel!

We have stayed at many dreams resorts and this one was BY FAR the worst we have ever visited.  From the dirty pool, the lack of food variety and grumpy service I will say that we will never return.  Only bonus is the fast wifi which impressed my husband.  Other than that, I would encourage you to miss this one and go elsewhere.

Disappointed 

Absolutely exceeded expectations was in Cozumel for a day stop on Norwegian cruise line Joy ship. Prior reviews said $30 transportation each way spoke with taxi drivers and all agreed to $20 each way. Property is in excellent condition. Service is impeccable food was pretty good overall but an excellent smaller resort that is worth the trip. Staff check in was very easy and everyone was accommodating for the day pass. Highly recommend and definitely would go back, again a big fan of ResortPass, and will definitely use in the future. 

Great day trip

Super easy welcome in, they do need passport details so it takes around 15 min. We got a taxi transport from the cruise port for around $30 quick 15 min car ride, they had a taxi for our return ($30). Small easy walkable resort. Beautiful well kept, clean, and one of the most beautiful we have been too in Mexico and amazing food! Poolside tacos were a hit though the music could have been turned down some during activities as it was blaring! The play area in the pool was seriously the best for our toddler. Water shoes for the ocean would be best as its rocky once you enter the water. Great snorkel right off shore, busy sun chairs at beach so make sure to get there early. Open chairs at the pool throughout the day. Hope to return for a longer stay! 

Would LOVE to come back! 

Nice property! The beach is beautiful but bring water shoes as it has a very rocky sea bottom. We felt the lunch buffet didn't have enough variety...a basic fish, chicken and veggy dish. Would love to have had a taco or fajita station. The staff was amazing, like really amazing! Everyone said hello and smiled as we'd pass by them. The lounge chairs on the beach were modern and comfortable.  We'll definitely return!
