Carpenter Hotel

Lovely space, however they had no idea we were coming. It advertises for pool service and yet that was not the case.

Great Spot

Construction taking place in pool area and outside of pool area. Noise coming from both directions. Pool not heated so def save this one for full summer. Beautiful grounds, coffee shop and restaurant. Cool staff, they were a bit confused with the process but handled it well. Very clean and stocked bathrooms. May try again in the summer but dont think its worth the higher price tag.

Could be nice

Peaceful and beautiful 

Came on a Tuesday with a friend and there was one other couple there so pretty nice and laid back. Pool was clean, loungers were  comfy, bathrooms were clean and close by and there was plenty of shade if you wanted it. Also appreciated the free covered parking which not all the hotels offer 

Great location, restaurant & free parking

Great environment, quiet and relaxing with good drinks and food. Not a party place which is nice. 

Relaxing Pool

Unruly kids unsupervised by parents made it hard to enjoy. Staff was great. Snacks were good

The pool and grounds are nice. 3 star rating due to check in and sneaky tip stunt from waitress. 
Check in process was very slow as they had to find someone who knew how to check in a resort pass. 
Several of us had issues with the fobs as they were not  activated correctly. We got locked out of the pool area and could not get into the restrooms.
Our waitress asked us to close our tabs because of shift change, she did not provide an itemized bill showing that a 20 percent gratuity was already added. She also did not mention that gratuity was included. It was a sneaky way for her to get additional gratuity.

Hidden Oasis

Great day at Carpenter Hotel. I love the remodeled brutalist / vintage architecture and decor. LA vibes. Pool wasn't huge, but big enough for soaking. We went on a Saturday and it did fill up, but it was almost entirely adults, and everyone was pretty quiet and chill. The pool is shaded by big oak trees, which makes it a great escape from the sun. Great drinks, great service, will be back again.

Loved my day at the carpenter. Felt relaxed upon arrival and had the most casual Monday by the pool with my family. Would highly recommend! From the food to the drinks to the pool it was all just right for me.
