Buenaventura Grand Hotel & Great Moments, an All-Inclusive Resort

First time using resort pass and it was a breeze! This was an excellent opportunity to decide how to spend our next trip.  

Pros:  Check in was simple. They hold your IDs and you must have ID for each guest.  We checked in 30 minutes early with no problem.  The food was above average for an AI resort, we tipped the bartender and the drinks were great as well.  Adult pool is tight, beach chairs are minimal so get there early.  

Cons: One of the staff at the beach restaurant was extremely rude (Dianna specifically). We could not tell if it was because we are on day pass or just her.  Tried to ignore it, but we ended up asking for another team member and the problem was resolved.  

The facility was clean and we enjoyed our time there. Will definitely book a stay here when we return to PV.  

Great chance to enjoy the resort

With some previous reviews, I was having some anxiousness, however, from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed it was wonderful.

The front office was able to find our groups reservations and allowed us to check in quickly to the fun. 

The pools were busy, but, understandable with families on vacation and then people coming off two large cruise ships.

The beach was wonderful and the service was stellar!! That alone makes the difference.

I highly recommend checking this place out.  I'd go again.

Wonderful Daycation

The resort was nice enough  but food wasn't good and service at the pool was poor 

Mediocre 

This was our first time using Resort Pass at Buenaventura. Visiting PV many times in the past, I had never noticed this place when driving by. On this trip we stopped over in PV on a cruise so we looked for a place where we could just relax for the day.  Buenaventura seemed to be just what we were looking for. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the friendly staff at the front desk. I appreciated this because they made us feel like hotel guests and not someone just using a day pass like others have reviewed about nearby location's. The hotel is older but well maintained. The property itself is on the smaller side but had everything we needed (3 pools, 2 outdoor bars, 2 restaurants, beach access, and servers walking around taking orders). I highly recommended getting there as early as is allowed... we arrived at 9:15am and most of the loungers were almost all reserved.

Great service and drinks. Didnt love breakfast but it was fine. 

Loved our day 

A day pass to the resort was the perfect option for my family to spend a day on the beach with chairs, umbrellas, towels, food and drink all provided!

Relaxing Day

Our day using resort pass was perfect. We arrived on a cruise ship and just wanted a relaxing day by the pool and beach. It was exactly what we were hoping for.
