Lucky Arrow Retreat - Dripping Springs

Polite, professional staff. Super cloudy, rain off-n-on. A perfect day. Not scorching hot. Nice pools. Clean bath house. Soft towels. Yummy snacks. Comfy lounge chairs. Only drawback was the sound of the high water pressure machine being used to clean the yurts for several hours next to the pool.

Amazing!

We enjoyed our day using one of the adult pool cabanas. The vibe is relaxing and peaceful. We went on a Friday and there were only a handful of people there, which was nice because the pool is relatively small and compact. The cabana was comfortable, but we were surprised to learn there was no bartender in the area until 2 pm. We used the QR code to order drinks, but most everything was out of stock. We were hoping to order cocktails not just pre made mixers and beer. We ordered the same margarita twice and it came out differently and in different sizes. For a place that says no outside beverages, there was little assistance in offering to bring any drinks to us. Canned water was available at the cabana, but it wasn't chilled nor was there any ice. I expected a bit more service for the premium price of a cabana.

Wonderful!

Overall, a great experience, loved that we could bring our own food. The adult pool is very exposed, few umbrellas, the family pool has more tables with umbrellas. Both pools ended up being about the same volume because there was one loud group at the adult pool. Ideally, cabanas are really the best since they offer shade and more seating options for those who don't want full shade. Drinks are pricy but they had lots of options. We'll definitely go back!

Great pools

We are local and don't have our own pool so I decided to finally book a pool pass with my friends to Lucky Arrow.   I love the Hill Country laid back vibe.  They have a Family pool and right up a few steps is the Adult pool where we planted ourselves.   The property manager was very kind and we were able to order drinks via a QR code and they were delivered promptly.   I love that we were able to bring our own food/snacks which really helps to keep the overall cost down.   The cabanas are awesome so we may book one of those next time!

Such a cool, relaxing location!

The server was so kind and made me feel so special for my birthday!  My friends had a blast.  The adult pool was lovely.  I read reviews that it is too cold but with the heat we have been having it was just right!

Nice staff and great pool

Beautiful pool area, very clean and friendly staff. Just a lovely facility. Not over crowded so it was lovely, peaceful, relaxing day.

I used the resort pass and just used the pool during my experience. I ordered drinks and the service was fast and friendly. The pool was clean and well maintained. The location in the hill country was fantastic.
