Avila Beach Hotel

Just what we were looking for after getting off the ship for the day. 

Only negative: Check in was a little frustrating. We were directed to the gym, where the worker was busy making smoothies for 15 minutes. We were given towel cards and a lunch pass. It would have been nice to receive a short orientation of the resort, but we figured it out eventually. 

Beach: many chairs and places for shade. There was a nice outdoor shower to rinse off at the end of the day. 

Water: very nice!  We brought our snorkeling stuff. We went snorkeling in the left side lagoon. Nice and protected with a break wall. Snorkeling was good to see fish along the break wall and also the rocks in the middle of the lagoon

Lunch: awesome catch of the day! 

Drinks: a little on the pricy side, but very good. 

Massage: it was good. The masseuse was very strong. Ask for a lighter touch if you want relaxation.

amazing shore excursion from cruise

Our first time with ResortPass. Came for a cruise port day. Avila was everything it said. Beautiful beach and warm and helpful staff. Massage was awesome! Thanks for a great day.

Boutique hotel

Avila day pass in Curraco was our perfect cruise ship destination.  Our package came with chairs, towels, umbrella huts, lunch (whatever you wanted off the menu) and a 30 minute spa massage which was heavenly I know there are different packages and pricing for this destination but I can tell you we paid 65 dollars per person (2 of us) for all these amenities which was worth every penny. Beach and water is beautiful and there are plenty of chairs. I was worried there would be none left once we arrived from the cruise but actually there were so many chairs at this resort it was never an issue even later in the day. I would forsure recommend if you can find a good deal like I did.

Perfection

Close to cruise port, easy reachable by local bus ($1.5 per pax). Great beaches (2), nice resort, and nice, friendly people. We spent a very nice day.

One of the best places

We got checked in early for a small amount of money staff all helpful rooms nice and big beds comfy great night sleep bar is nice also only downside and it didnt matter to us is one of the lifts was always broken

Perfect stay

We really enjoyed our experience at Avila Beach! The staff was all very friendly and helpful. 30 minute massage was such a special treat! Lunch was great and drinks were very good. Beach was beautiful and water was great! We didn't use the pool but it looked very nice. We are coming back to Curacao in September and plan on returning!

Great resort

Beautiful beach area! The lunch was delicious (pick off a small menu, but nice selection) and only paid for our drinks.  The 30 minute massage was AMAZING!!   if time permits on our next cruise stop, we would definitely do again.  

Great value!

I was so happy to get a reasonable resort pass for Curacao and the resort was only 10 min from the cruise port!   The front desk was EXCELLENT!  Lots of children but the private beach was cool to refresh and snorkel in.
