TRS Coral Hotel - All Inclusive

This place is a DREAM! Dont think twice about booking it. I booked the day pass and spa relaxation pass. The spa was unlike anything Ive seen before. Treat yourself. 

Stunning 

I made the mistake of not staying at the site as I had business in Merida.  The hotel or resortpass was nothing short of horrible for the customer.  Staff have no idea and did the classic "not our problem" it's the App's problem.  Which NEVER worked in the hotel declining 3 cards to get a day pass.  UNTIL, a staff member did it for me on a terminal as the app or whatever just didn't work. OF COURSE they can't take cash or anything but through the app.  What a waste of time and energy. Then they bought my wedding day pass which, on the surface, I thought I should do while I had a method to do it. OF COURSE the wedding day pass was something else so, they took the money and OF COURSE they can't transfer or refund and I was on my own. Then OF COURSE they kick you out at 6, all the while threatening you with a $900 charge if you are still in the building after 6. OF COURSE all the restaurants close and re-open after 6. So, I paid $300+ usd for 6-8 beer and two plates of food.  NEVER again.

Terrible experience

I went to the TRS and the food was amazing and I bought a spa package for $180 including massage, facial and the use of the spa area.

Great spa

Love the customer service, from the front desk with Luisa to Carlos, the butler. They make you feel like home and are very nice. The whole experience is superb

5 Star Spa Experience 

Check in took about an hour. Then when we sat down for a breakfast we had to wait for our food for another hour. Just one pool not enough chairs anywhere.

The property is amazing, the place smells luxurious inside, its the works in resort form. Whats unsavory is when you purchase a spa pass it doesn't grant you a day pass to explore or use any of the many areas at that giant resort, as most spa passes do. My friend and I showed up for the day ready to get breakfast and spend time at the beach before we enjoyed our spa day we booked for my birthday trip, and a classist concierge was happy to tell us no - we could only use the spa facilities with our passes. We were hungry and had traveled a long distance from our boutique hotel to be turned away so rudely, so we bought a day pass from the app right on the spot. I can tell the staff looks down at Resort Pass and make the day pass guests feel out of place. We didn't let that get to us although check-in took a long time. We had an amazing time and enjoyed the breakfast buffet with the fresh french toast station, we loved the beach, dinner, hydrotherapy - everything!
