Secrets Cap Cana Resort - All Inclusive

Secrets Cap Cana has a nice public beach in front of it but the property itself is nothing special. The pools are small, everything seems squished together, the buildings are generic, all looking like typical suburb condos, we noticed low maintenance issues and the food at Seaside grill was subpar. The only thing positive was the nice staff serving drinks on the Preferred side of the beach. We are staying at Sanctuary Cap Cana for the week and overall Sanctuary is better for several reasons. 

Generic property 

When I checked in, it took over a half hour, staff did not know how to use resort pass and felt like I was being interrogated. Finally got checked in, was told I had access to the property till midnight because I paid $350 for a spa pass.

Tried to go to dinner at 6, they made me wait for 25 minutes just standing until telling me my pass expired at 6. I signed paperwork at my checkin that I had access till midnight but they tried to get me to pay another $150 just to have dinner. I did not do that because I felt like I was being scammed.

Summary: Dont go to this resort, especially with resort pass. The staff cant use it and its just a shit show. Plenty of other resorts work very well with resort pass in Punta Cana.

Go somewhere else

Overall one of the best resorts we have been too
