We had the pool entirely to ourselves and the staff were lovely.

Great Staff

The front desk staff are friendly and familiar with the ResortPass process.  The pool and fitness center are on the 32nd floor and have a fantastic view of downtown.  The long pool is ideal to do laps in (not a huge pool, but bigger than other indoor pools around).  On a Monday midday, it was quiet and a good place to relax for a few hours.  I do wish they had a shower/locker room available, but there are bathrooms that you can change in.

Nice swimming pool but poor facilities

The downtown Westin is not bad but not sure it deserves a full 5 stars. I have a few nitpicks. The room was pretty basic. I not been to a Westin in a long time but I don't remember the Heavenly bed being so hard or the towels being so rough. There is no room service but the indoor pool was nice. We had it to ourselves. The only problem was that the room was pretty chilly. It was cold outside so it seems like they did not adjust the indoor temperature to match. So when you get out of the pool you are freezing. The only other issue was the cost for parking. Otherwise, this is not a bad hotel but there some other indoor pool hotels that are a better value for a day room. 

Pretty nice for a relaxing Sunday

The location was great. Customer service 10/10. Amazing view of the city too. But we were expecting a heated pool as the temperatures are dropping. We didnt get that the room was warm but the water was cold. We were told the water is is to be kept at 80 degrees but it just didnt feel that way. My guest and I were shivering. We were able to talk with management and the asked us to call and return on another day. As they would need to request a tech to come out and service the pool. Outside of that and the fireplace not working. It would have been a great visit. 

Great location.. But..

Was perfect minus the staff knocking on my door when I have do not disturb posted and am in the middle of an interview which sent my dogs barking and really killed my flow. 

Perfect day room pass to work from 

We got the day room to use before a concert and it's one of the only hotels in Dallas that offers this. This is the best thing for your money!

Nice Hotel

Great location

For a day stay I would pick a different area in Dallas and a better hotel. This hotel is for business not a vacay. The area  outside is boring nothing to do but see bums asking for money. Although it was nice inside. Asking for a drink was difficult since the bar had no bartender and the person there was charging $35 for a Kailua.  I did question the price and he did go down on the price and later added $6 and couldnt answer me whats it for , I had him remove it. We left the bar nothing else to do but go home.

Being at the Westin Downtown Dallas was the very BEST!!! From the valet service to registration was a pleasant experience!!! Our stay was fabulous, fun and fulfilling for the day!!! I will definitely encourage others to visit there and to use Resort Pass.
