When we first arrived Arnold at the front desk greeted us with a warm welcome and he was very informative on where to go for breakfast, this place is so laid back and peaceful that we wanted to stay for the rest of the Holiday weekend but we will next time. This is definitely the hotel to stay for a day or a weekend !!!!  We decided to order wings to snack on , compliments to the Chef, those wings were outstanding !!! They were fried perfect !!! The Bartender , she was amazing !!! bless her heart she had the bar under control for running it by herself when it got busy later in the day. We will definitely be back and bring friends and make a weekend out of it.  Thank you Royal Palms for your Hospitality !!!

Mother Day

From the beginning, the experience was a mess. I called to clarify the opening hours of the restaurant/bar. The ad said 12 pm, another site said 4 pm so I called to confirm. The person I spoke with was confused also, but said it should be 12 pm. When we arrived, parking was confusing and limited. The pool had very little sun, no music playing. By 2 pm the restaurant still wasn't open. When we asked when it would open they said it should be by now, the staff just comes in whenever they feel like it, but should be here soon. By 3 they were open but we were leaving soon so who cares. Terrible experience with wishy-washy staff and no ambiance, no music, no food, no drink. Will never come back here, and it's too bad because it has potential.

Friendly staff, delicious food and fun-loving guests! Parking in this area is notoriously challenging but it's like that for several other properties in the area, too. Fortunately through a collaboration with other NBV properties there are first come first served options in the area, as long as it's an NBV property.

Nice boutique property near Ft. Lauderdale Beach 

Royal Palm is a great little find, we enjoyed our time to hang out in the pool, and go to the beach to see the Air show. It was very unfortunate that there was no food for lunch on a weekend of the air show! Also, I just do not understand why the bathroom by the bar was not cleaned with the trash barrel overflowing and no stocked toilet paper the entire day!
