San Jose Marriott Downtown

I feel this is a nice property and the pool is nice. However, the staff did not seem aware of all that is included with a resort pass purchase. We were told the bar opened at 12, however, its actually 5. While the hotel lists available restaurants to order from, they were not open either. Our passes also included complimentary valet, but this caused some confusion as staff attempted to charge us multiple times. Overall, the pool is small, but private without much of a view. The location allows easy access to walkable sites. You should plan to bring your own food/drink

Rooftop Pool

The hotel is cool, but the bar does not open until 5 pm and none of the restaurants were open. They had mimosas available at the desk after like 1230- 1300. They were cool with you door dashing your own food and liquor. Make sure you state that you already paid for parking through the resort pass because they will try and charge you.

Facility fine

My fertilize to take it a day cation here and got a pool day pass. It was a gorgeous sunny day in San Jose the Marriot offers a lovely Pool and lounge area. We started at one of the canopies thats super
We started at one of the canopies thats super cozy and has pillows and soft cushions. Out to sunbath on some of their nice lounge chairs you were there for a total of four hours, hopping in and out of the pool and then ending our day around sunset time in the Jacuzzi as the weather cooled down

Pool and hot tub were a comfortable temperature. Nice mix of sun and shade. Comfortable loungers.  All good!

Do note: No food or drink service at the pool. No changing room or showers. Was ok for us.

Great daycation!

Perfect spot for catching all the rays. Bit annoying the bar and restaurant is closed 2-5 but there is another little market that has a few bits and has Starbucks coffee. No cocktails just beer and wine even though there are some cocktails on the menu. Would definitely go again

Great sun 

Beware, theres no food or drinks offered at the pool. The hotel restaurant is on a different level and they will not take the food to the pool if you request. The lunch menu did have several options for food but even though they had cocktails on the menu they said they only offer wine and beer at that time. For the price they are charging they should definitely offer service to the pool. You are paying for access to the pool and gym only. The gym and pool are in good condition, the area wasnt too busy and it was clean. 

Overpriced
