Mission Pacific Hotel

I booked this property for a daycation with my 7yo, as we were staying at a nearby Airbnb. Everything exceeded my expectations and I'm very happy we found find spot!
We arrived around 4 and utilized the beach concierge for sand toys, chairs and a boogie board (included in the price of admission) - the beach was awesome for swimming and well-maintained, although public. It is worth noting the time the beach concierge closes, since it was 5pm for us and we wish we had arrived earlier to make full use of a beach day.
We then moved to the rooftop pool which was a highlight! The pool water was warm enough to enjoy on a 60 degree evening, and the view was spectacular. The food and drinks from the rooftop bar was phenomenal and the survive as great, too. Everything was well-done and the vibe felt more lux than I had expected, and added bonus. 
We'd love to return on our next trip to the San Diego area!

Gorgeous- perfect all around 

Went to go enjoy there rooftop bar and jacuzzi.  And was exactly what I wanted and expected. Great service! And great cocktails and food. I will definitely be coming back!

Amazing time!

Lovely fancy well-furnished smaller hotel & grounds (front features relocated Top Gun house, back featured randomly parked red Maserati).  Staff painfully young & trendy &almost friendly & helpful. Beautiful view but to see it you need the one corner deck chair turned 90 degrees or a seat at one of the tables lining the clear wall at front. No changing rooms, cold shower runs 5 seconds per knob push. Hot tub is basic but has a minimal ocean view (pavement there was full of dust & grit). Had planned to take advantage of Happy Hour but waited in vain for any of the occasional staff futzing past to take my order; there is no poolside service, no matter what ResortPass says. Pool restroom shared with bar & restaurant. I had confirmed the pool was open til 10pm when I checked in & no one found it necessary to tell me they would be showing a horror movie to the deserted pool at 7pm LOL. Nice pool-adjacent open air/fireside room. Hotel gym is small & basic but breezy & well ventilated. 

Fancy, nice rooftop pool/view, but overpriced imho

Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The pool was the perfect temperature and lovely people all throughout

Great afternoon 

Beautiful location, overlooking the Oceanside pier. Check in was easy, the vibe was mellow and our server was fantastic. Will definitely be back. 

Excellent staycation

Not only was the pool freezing and the spa full of soap, but the staff didn't seem to care. Server was way over worked and couldn't keep up. I usually love the resort pass, but I wouldn't use it for this hotel. Wasn't a fan..

Wont go again

I LOVE the mission pacific and seabird hotels. I cant justify constant overnight trips here, so resort passes have been an amazing way to enjoy some of my favorite spots for a day. It is super easy to book, check in, and utilize everything throughout the day. I definitely recommend! 

A day in paradise!

The pool overlooks the ocean. I pool itself is small but the decor and service was wonderful. It is more of an adult crowd. The pool next door at Seabird is better suited for kids.

Beautiful Rooftop pool and lounge

Good vibe. Great atmosphere. Good food. View was spectacular. Service was friendly and accommodating but you need more than one server around the pool on a hot summer day. Even with the threat of a hurricane!

Beautiful location!

Excellent service by Nina !!! She was professional and pleasant. The cheese platter and drinks were great!
