Marquis Los Cabos Resort - All Inclusive

This resort is stunning and was not crowded at all.  The seven course dinner was absolutely amazing and totally worth it.  Once in the resort, everything was perfect.  Unfortunately our check-in experience was terrible, hence the 4 stars.  We took an Uber to the resort and the guard at the gate wouldn't even let us in initially, he was adamant that this resort does not sell day passes.  After multiple phone calls and a long wait, they eventually let us in to the reception area, where we were met with additional confusion.  We went through multiple front desk associates before being able to convince someone that we had paid for a day pass through ResortPass, we were starting to be afraid that we had been scammed.  Again, they finally let us through but then argued with us about the 7 course dinner being included as advertised, we had to show them the original listing before they agreed to let us make a dinner reservation, I am glad we showed up early to deal with all of this!

Beautiful resort

The day was lackluster. When we arrived it took 12 minutes for the door guard to let us in. Then, once we registered at the desk, they said you can stay until 9 PM but didn't offer an overview of the property. Because we had to come at 1 PM, all of the chairs at the pool were taken around the infinity pool. We never once received service. We eventually found a buffet for lunch, but they didn't know how to charge us for a resort pass when it came to drinks. The food was okay. The massage we got was great, however the email resort pass gave us told us that the spa was open until 7 PM, but they closed it at 6 PM, so we didn't get to use the amenities since they had all been closed. For dinner, we weren't able to book any of the dinner venues since you had to make reservations the day of. We ended up having a buffet dinner. We tried their Suspiro bar, and while the drinks came out quickly, we ordered nachos which took 50 minutes. I wouldn't recommend. 

Uneven service

Gorgeous resort but service is kind of slow. I would still go back. We had to leave for the airport so didn’t get as much out of it as we could have but it was a great place to spend the day.

We loved hanging out here for the day — the 7-course French dinner was the highlight, and the views/pool access were amazing.
