Holiday Inn Long Beach Airport

Wanted to try a local hotel since the weather warm.  It was definitely a very easy process. I my thing was its Long Beach so there is always a breeze and the pool was ice cold.  

First time user

It was advertised that the pool is heated however the water was freezing cold! The jacuzzi was ok but we wanted to swim! Outdoor shower warm and good bathrooms. 

Freezing Cold water! 

The post says heated pool but the reviews said its not. So i called to be safe, hotel said its heated.  So we booked our first resortpass.  It was not heated.  Hotel said their heater has been broken for 6+ months. They also said theyre not supposed to be on resortpass anymore.  Which is confusing because we just bought passes this morning. It was disappointing but we still tried to make the most of it.  Just disappointing.

Had a 6hr wait before my flight after getting off my cruise. This day pass option was a life saver. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the lounge area was cozy and very relaxing.

I do not recommend this location, I was not happy woth my room. 

Holiday Inn - Long Beach Airport 

It was a nice pool area and staff was helpful and exceptionally friendly. If you plan to swim its freezing cold and very difficult to stay in but if you just want to lay out and use the hot tub its perfect and not crowded at all.

Took Uber to resort after booking a day room after a  cruise so we could relax until PM flight home. Arrived to a lobby full of people, 1 clerk, unable to check in after half hour wait, check in clerk said my credit card was denied. Tried another card 2, same issue. Clerk said my cards were probably flagged due to travel. After another hour on phone with card companies who all said no problems with my cards or accounts. Clerk unable to process confirmedcreservation and was extremely rude. She kept arguing there was nothing wrong with their system, and it was my cards! Left after 2 hours tryingvto resolve and wasted $80 on Uber rides from port and back.

Great location and staff was super nice!

Mt granddaughter and I truly enjoyed our time there at the poolside - no one else was in the pool at all. The age of the spa tub was dated and it was a little rough sitting in the spa, but the pool was great! I thought it was going to ve warmer but I guess the pool is not heated so it was cold. The seating areas around the pool and spa were really nice. It was a really good - enjoy the pool and spa for a couple of hours kind of a day.  Thanks!

Good location!

Why this location is even on your website is beyond me! The rooms are in such bad condition is an understatement. Doors were jammed to where you need assistance to even open it, first room had no A/C working at all on the 9th floor. The 2nd room was even worse on the 5th floor, old run down no actual renovation  done since who knows when! Bathroom had no working shower at all, handles were loose hanging on outside the wall, vent to the A/C was in the wall insecurely the list is endless. To be honest this is a disgrace for the amount of money they charge even if it is for the day only..
