The pool and hotel are beautiful, however, we unfortunately booked the same day as an SMU football recruiting trip, with 20-30 teenagers screaming and jumping into the pool for hours. Water was going everywhere into the cabana. I was shocked that the staff didn't shut it down for it to be a JW MARRIOTT. It was far from relaxing for most of the day and we couldn't get into the pool due to the utter chaos for a good couple of hours. I am in hospitality so I understand, but I am appalled the the staff didn't shut it down for the remaining guests or at least apologize to the guests who spent hundreds of dollars to rent a cabana (us and 1 other group) as SMU bought out the remaining 4-5 cabanas. Also, the checkin process was a bit bizarre for the money spent. We were told to just "pick a cabana" except for the 4-5 already booked, when I booked a specific type with 2 chaise lounges. Beverage service was also EXTREMELY slow, taking about 45 minutes to receive our drinks. 

Beautiful pool + location & obnoxious environment 

Initially, the staff at this location didn't seem aware of the Resort Pass process and had me waiting around for a bit until they figured it out.  But after that was sorted, I enjoyed my time here.  The pool is heated.  Keep in mind that this is a rooftop pool, but is shaded for a large part of the day if you are wanting to get sun.  There are no locker rooms if you need to shower here.  It was a wonderful experience for the most part.
