Unfortunately, almost nothing promised by resort pass was included in our reservation. There were no rose pedals or champagne upon arrival. Breakfast for two was to be included, yet breakfast service ends at 9am when we were told to arrive. The suite was supposed to have a king size bed, it was a queen.

Not as advertised 

I had no issue booking the resort pass. However, checking into the hotel was a confusing and frustrating 25 minute process. The hotel could not find my reservation. The Manager did his best to accommodate me. I did not get the cinema package that I paid for. I felt bad for the manager because he did not have access to whatever system was needed to check me in. He did work out an alternative plan but it took awhile to figure out what to do.

New System Needed

We did not get what was in the description. No chocolates or champagne for a couples stay. I got charged for a hotel night stay upon check in. Manager said it was $100 for incidentals. Which the scanner read $324.50. So I got charged for a whole night when I had previously paid for a day room. He said we have to wait 24 hr for reimbursement.  (Also pool was closed) which I was not notified until arrival. 

Terrible experience 

This was my first time using the Resort Pass app and I was absolutely pleased with the experience! The hotel was about an hour away from Chicago but I think it was worth it to stay there the full day. Even though the pool was closed, I think they made up for it with their superior customer service! 

Great Day Pass!

Booked the family day package, which included breakfast, a family snack basket, 20% off food and beverage, along with amenities and a day room from 9am-3pm. Per other guests that were in since Friday, pool was down since their arrival and still out of service. Hotel could not provide the family snack basket or 20% off stated they had never heard of resort pass. 

Was highly upset as I only booked this staycation after receiving emails and a text message from resort pass to book an end of summer stay at the poolside. 

Hotel also only has 1 kid friendly channel,  Cartoon Network.  

Could have had more fun at home, and would not have spent my money. 

Pool out of service

Everything was good except for the breakfast. Room was clean, shower had great water. Description said free breakfast. Breakfast ended at 9. Reservation was from 9-3pm. Not sure how we were supposed to know to arrive before 9. Since we had not eaten we wasted half an hour going out to get something to eat. Snack basket was a couple bags of chips, water bottles and fruit. 

Nice room

We purchased this for my teen daughters birthday party, and it was a hit! We got two adjoining rooms, and they were fabulous! Huge, clean, and perfect for games and movies. Both the breakfast and snack baskets were plentiful as well. The only critique I have is of the pool, which left much to be desired in terms of ambiance. But everyone was super friendly and the experience was great! 

Great value! 

Everything about this hotel started great - nice lobby, great front desk service, and was very impressed with the room quality. However, the pool is way smaller and older than pictured. The pool was very busy at 10 AM and with Spring Break week, I expected this - but the water was cloudy and there were no towels. A member of the cleaning staff even came in and saw there were no towels, but did not come back to refill them. Overall, very nice room but the main reason I picked this hotel was for the pool and it was disappointing.

Staff was very nice. The pool was just a little chilly for my kids.

Nice Day Out

First time using resort pass. it’s such a good idea. great way to offer something for less commitment and gets hotels earn revenue where they l otherwise wouldn’t. This hotel had a great room/suite that fit my family comfortably. The snack basket was great and because we came around 9:30, breakfast was over so we got a little bag of muffins, bagels, and fruit. I recommend getting there before 9 if you want breakfast. The pool was your typical pool. Kids had fun!
