Hyatt House Washington DC The Wharf 

I went with my mother-in-law and two daughters on a holiday.  We were lucky we got there early because we snagged the last two lounge chairs -- there were only about a dozen.  There was other seating but it was more like patio lounge furniture.  By late morning the pool was packed and there were way more people there than it could logically accommodate.  It seems like they oversell the amount of passes.  There were tons of people who arrived who had no where to sit and put their stuff except straight on the pool deck.  If you come here, arrive early!

Nice Pool - Not Enough Seating

Nice hotel and lovely pool. Beautiful view of the Wharf. Could use protection from the sun (umbrellas, etc.).

Pool was small and the cost didnt meet the expectations! It was $115 online plus a $75 hold before you even get to the rooftop! 

Not what I was expecting 

Great views. Hotel entrance was confusing to find. They had issues figuring out my booking and providing the key to the pool. You can order food and drinks from your phone but the process was not provided until I went looking for it. Teenagers were unsupervised and being obnoxious. Parking was expensive. Upon checking in for my already paid booking, I was required to put a card on file and they charged an additional hold of $75. Pool was smaller than pictures made it seem.

Great Location

Hotel /pool on DC`s wharf.  Advertised as heated but it wasn`t.  Granted, I was there 2 days post Labor Day.  When we checked in at the desk, we were given a "room key" so we`d be able to activate the elevator and open the locked door to the pool.  The pool is situated so you have a view of both the city and the river.  I would have given this pool 5 stars if they provided umbrellas.  We sat in the shade cast by the building and once the sun was fully up in the sky around noon, there was absolutely zero shade at this pool and we left earlier than we would have if there was shade.

Great location

The pool was so nice and spacious! It also gives a beautiful rooftop view of the DC Whaf waterfront!

Perfect location for cooling off while visiting the wharf.  Beautiful views, friendly and very helpful staff.

Lovely views and great staff

This was very disappointing. Pool is extremely small, no real decking area to sit out and relax on. Decent view of the wharf.

Oversized bathtub 

The day pass option, like the hotel's restaurant and views from the elevated terrace, is a best kept secret. The pool is a little small, but perfect for soaking to stay cool.

Don't Tell Nobody 

Relax and cool off in the refreshing pool, enjoying panoramic views of the cityscape.
