Hotel Per La

Hotel Per La is beautifully designed and opulently decorated in Old World European style, but everything looks clean and brand new. As soon as the elevator doors open at the roof level, you forget you're in downtown LA. You're in an entirely different world with both Italian and island vibes. There's a beautiful bar area with its own patio, and plenty of comfortable seating by the pool. The pool is clean and warm, but be warned: it's only 3.5 feet deep. I think that's normal for rooftop pools, though. Service was extremely friendly and welcoming, but a little slow by the pool. The food and cocktails are excellent! Pro Tip: Be sure to visit the hotel's basement level bathrooms. They're inside an old bank vault! My only critique would be the music that was playing, which was American pop and hip hop. I would suggest more relaxing music during the day, or maybe something on-theme like Europop. It didn't take away from the experience at all, however!

Beautiful Rooftop Oasis

We were initially so excited about having pool day this weekend, but immediately turned around when we scoped out the scene. The pool was full of kids and guests, with no place for day pass users to sit or lie.

Do not recommend for a weekend.

Chill spot

The service was amazing. Made you feel like you were staying at the hotel as a guest. The food and drinks were delicious, and the lounge chairs were comfy.

Really nice pool area, got there around 11am and were two of the only people there. As the day went on, more guests showed up but things remained very peaceful and quiet despite being in DTLA. Pool was a perfect temperature and bar servers were extremely nice and attentive. Definitely looking forward to returning in the future.

Relaxing!

Everything about this hotel was perfect from the cleanliness to the design and the staff. Definitely a smaller hotel But The views Were incredible from the rooftop pool. The environment was also comfortable and friendly

Beautiful pool, great food and cocktails, friendly staff, and somehow both vibey for adults and kid friendly! Will be back.

Perfect pool day!

Found this place while looking for a last minute day pass nearby and not only was the day pass a better price than area hotels, the hotel and staff were a 10/10. This was the perfect little spot, not too crowded, and had a great relaxing vibe. I will be coming here again. Shout out to Garland for his outstanding and welcoming service :-)
