Got there on a Saturday around noon and had no trouble getting our seats. Lounged all day, service was great & valet included was a big plus. Excited to come again.

I must have caught Hotel Figueroa on a bad day. People at the front desk did not seem to understand how ResortPass worked so they sent me off to find the pool by myself and check in there. Eventually I found a person who seemed to understand my reservation. I had a nice spot by the pool and I was told water would be brought to me. That never happened. There was no poolside service like advertised on ResortPass, I had to go into the bar to put in my order every time. It took more than 30 minutes to get a small salad and almost as long to get fries. The server forgot the condiments and had go get them separately. There were not enough umbrellas so I was in the direct mid day sun, I love the heat so that is all good but I also do not want sunburn. To get shade, I would have had to leave my spot and I did not want to lose it.

The cocktails were very good and the food was enjoyable. The overall vibe and decor was really nice and location is convenient in DTLA.

I had the best time at Hotel Figueroa. The staff was courteous and pool was awesome, I especially loved the credit we received for food and drinks, no complaints 

Fun day

The front desk said they didn't know anything about the reservation and to talk to the restaurant by the pool. The only people in the restaurant were people setting up for a wedding and didn't know what I was talking about regarding my reservation. At the pool was a photographer taking pictures of a wedding party. No other guest. Left without having anyone to tell me why I wasn't notified about cancelation. Rushed from lunch and a nice day in Malibu over an hour to Hotel Figueroa downtown, paid $10 parking and nobody could tell me anything about this service or my reservation. Left extremely frustrated and disappointed especially since it was my daughters first time in LA and excited about spending the afternoon at the pool.

Nobody around, no reservation. 

I have spent many days by the pool at Hotel Figueroa this year and it has always been lovely, especially the poolside service, the food and cocktails. The reason I keep coming back.
Right now, there is no poolside service though, you’ll have to go inside to the lobby bar (while nobody in the lobby is wearing masks) and get everything to go, then bring it back to the pool. 
So until winter is over, ideally the ResortPass would only be the fee without the food voucher, since you can’t even use the voucher. I hope ResortPass will update this. I’d happily pay $20 or $30 just to hang at the pool for a few hours.

Be aware of limited service during winter hours

We are so happy that summer is ending which means resort passes are becoming more available. Today was delightful, even though the pool deck was packed the vibes were quiet and chill. Terell was wonderful and super attentive and the food and drinks were on point. Best Monday.

Exceeding expectations every time 

went on a thursday morning and it wasn't too busy and service was great. wish that there were working outlets next to the lounges so that i could use my laptop and closer bathrooms to the pool (instead of walking through the restaurant back to the hotel lobby). other than that, i would definitely do this again!
