Hollywood Hotel

Very very relaxing, not bustling with people - I felt rude even answering a phone call it was that quiet. But there were some beautiful people there and families, its a very anonymous place to be left alone, which is nice if thats what youre in it for. No bathroom , you have to cross a parking lot to get to the lobby, and the front desk took a while to process my day room reservation. Not sure theyre used to the room rental part yet but friendly. Youll not see a staff member after you check in. Towels, but no drink/ food service by the pool (after 1 on Sunday at least). Its clean, not shnazzy (dont bring a date here trying to impress).

Location is in Hollywood 

This is that saddest hotel ever, on a rough block. They weren't even sure how to book someone with a resort pass as no one in their right mind would ever use the pool. It's next to the parking lot and looks nothing like the pictures! Don't fall for it-

bait & switch

The images were very deceiving!! I felt like I was catfished. Not worth how much it is at all. Go somewhere else. Also - no food/drinks etc. this should be much cheaper.

The pool area was very clean with very comfortable chairs. I keep thinking about when I can go back.

No bar, no food, no servers or pool attendants. Also, no one was at the check-in desk when I arrived, meaning no one checked that I even had a ResortPass, which essentially made the $50 not worth it. I just walked right in.

Not Worth the Money

No bar, no food, very motel vibe 

Went at 1PM on a Sunday. Chose this because I needed a quiet pool area with lots of sun. Theres a shop for basic bottled drinks and snacks. It wasn't at all crowded when I got in so it was easy to get a day bed. If that is what you are looking for in the middle of downtown LA, this place is great. If you need food & drinks served, there are better places for it.

Good for Sunbathing

Photos are deceiving as far as what the day room looks like and space wise, but its a great deal. The room was tiny and very outdated, but served its purpose. The staff was incredible. Dalia at the front desk was awesome. The pool area was not too crowded and water was great for a hot day like today.
