This was a lovely beach club! Very relaxing, quiet, beautiful spot. Based on the other reviews, we were worried that they would not know about our reservation. As a result, we went early (9AM) which was good because they didn't know about our reservation and we got the last cabana. 

Beautiful location, great food, very relaxing

My boyfriend and I loved our day at Amansala! We were staying in downtown Tulum but wanted to have a relaxing beach day. Was easily able to lounge on the beach all day with our choice of daybeds or sun loungers. There were plenty of options available so it did not feel too crowded. Wait staff was also amazing - prices were reasonable given how expensive Tulum beach is. No long waits for drinks/food either. 

Great day at Amansala! 

The address on resort pass is incorrect you are better off using Apple Maps. Trust it will save you a long ride and money! Once getting there be assertive as no one knew what was going on they had given away our Nest Cabana though there was no notice for first come first serve for this option. Overall service was super slow we had to get the attention of a server 3 times before even getting a menu. Once ordering we waited an hour for our food and another hour for drinks before canceling them. Beach day turn into a nightmare and a waste of money! Beware! 

Beach club nightmare 

Booked a cabana for 2 people on New Years Day. They overbooked the cabanas. We asked for compensation or another arrangement, the only option we were given was to sit in the sun or leave. She was rude, dismissive, purposely ignored us and pretended as though she was so busy that she couldnt even take a minute to speak to us nicely. We also told her we felt she was being rude and she said yes I am being rude as its the biggest day of the year and I dont have time for this. She was adamant on us leaving and taking the refund as she realised we had a better deal buying our pass on resort pass rather than the New Years Day price. We came up with our own compensation and asked if we could be given free drinks and wed stay. At first she said no but then agreed to us having a drink each. I asked the lady what her name was and she ignored first then lied and said it was Susanna. I later found out from another guest that she is actually the owner and her name is Melissa.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had

We had a great time at Amansala! The service was impeccable, the food was tasty, and we liked that it wasn't too crowded. We enjoyed the cabana and the wonderful massages. We would definitely return.

Great location, nice beach!

Amansala - I liked the food, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. The pool area is small but was nice and was not crowded. The beach was nice but I had broken fingers so was nervous of the waves. The decor is nice. I liked that they had a big water bottle to fill up glasses and cut down plastic.

They have wifi but there is no phone reception here, ao no Ubers. And the taxis are astronomical. Make sure you have cash (I didn't) so you can catch the collectivos for abput 20 pesos and avoid the crazy 500 peso taxi ride to get into  town, which is really not that far, and isn't work anywhere near that kind of fare.

I had an excellent experience using a day pass at the resort. The facility was impressive, boasting a beautiful ambiance. The customer service was exceptional, adding to the overall enjoyment. The food was not only delicious but also reasonably priced, making it a fantastic value. I highly recommend this resort for a day of relaxation and indulgence.
