Canopy by Hilton Austin Downtown

The location was cute and my group of four was very excited. Upon walking in, the bartender said our group had the one in the back but it did not include lounge chairs - which the package does include. The cabana was totally blocked by other furniture items that we had to physically climb over to reach. It was genuinely so small idk how they market it to be up to six. The bartender ignored us so we went over to ask questions about how uncomfortable the furniture is in front of our cabana. He said he would get a manager but was extremely rude and mansplained how he didnt know anything about what was included in our package other than needing to spend an additional $100. He said hed start our drinks after hesitation. 40 minutes go by and we go downstairs and he was eating (there was one bartender). After complaining the manager originally ignored our concerns and wasnt empathetic until he saw we were serious about a refund. He also brought the drinks after we already left.

Ignored Until We Wanted a Refund 

The pool was quiet, service was fantastic - thank you Kiana, our food was amazing, pool was clean!  A few shady spots to sit.

Great Pool/Great Server

The pool is small..and crowded. It was impossible to get a chair with the amount of people. May be nice during the week but overpriced for the size and not worth going. There are a lot of rooftop pools downtown that are bigger and worth the price. This was just a convenient last minute option. 

Overcrowded & Incredibly Small

Great service, great location 

The pool water was extremely dirty, you couldn't see the bottom. There were no chairs available to sit in and cups/towels were left out everywhere. Old food plates were scattered around the perimeter of the pool and on tables.

This pool is SMALL. It was very crowded. The bar/lounge area was really great. Super open, covered, large table seats 12. Service slow but nice. 

Very small pool, crowded, great eating area

It was a good experience but was smaller than I expected, for standing and relaxing is fine, just dont expect to be swimming any laps.

Downtown Austin 

The hotel guests were unhappy about the fact that we were there and not staying at the hotel since it is a small pool and was pretty crowded. It became a little awkward as the guests openly expressed this concern.
