It said on the description that food and drink services start at 8am until 5pm. Well, we arrived at the property around 9:50AM, we were told that the food and drink services wouldnt start until 11am. Then they sent us to another part of the hotel to have breakfast, we walked all around the property to then be told they couldnt serve us or didnt want to, even though on the description of this resort pass it said our all inclusive day pass included unlimited all inclusive food and drinks (including alcohol) FROM ON-SITE restaurants and bars. Walked back to the Prop Club Beach Bar and Grill, had to wait until 11am to then order and then wait another 45 mins to an hour for the food to come out. So pretty much had to wait until 12pm to eat even though on the description of this property on ResortPass it says open from 8am-5pm. On top of that half of the property was closed due to hurricane, and pool ground was rough and pool was dirty.

This hotel is not ready to be on resort pass, RUN!

I enjoyed this beautiful beach and grill today. I was shown the amenities when I arrived, received a beach chair, towel, and umbrella,  and immediately ordered food and drinks. The people were very hospitable, it was a secure environment, and of course the water was perfect.  I swam, relaxed, and danced. I was there solo and I did not have to worry about my things being safe while I swam. I will come back to this beach club again! Picture perfect for a beach day and very nice staff.

Impeccable beachfront & hospitable service

Beautiful beach but thats where it ends. Pool dirty and not as pictured, half of resort closed still due to hurricane a few years ago, restaurants and bars listed not open, service very slow, courteous but very slow. Food very limited, think bar food not much of a menu, at only restaurant near beach. Really not much to be there for except the beach. By phone last night the hotel said they were open and all services in operation. Not true and the hotel and Resort Pass should be ashamed to call this top shelf quality.  My bad, wont happen again for either business. Check what you sell better and be honest. 

Beautiful beach BUT!!!

We booked this on a day stop in Freeport from a Carnival Cruise.  15 minute taxi ride and we walked up to a restaurant with lots of beach chairs between in and the gorgeous ocean.  The restaurant does not open for food or drinks until 11am (NOT what the listing states), but there is a little drink shack that opened around 9:30a ish and had amazing food too.   This is a closed "resort" that is very run down but the restaurant and the beach are nice.  We enjoyed the beach all to ourselves for probably 2 hours.  There is a towel and umbrella service.   I would high suggest not to do the all-inclusive and just pay for the cheaper day pass.  There is no longer an infinity pool but they do have a clean pool to swim in.  Overall I gave it 4 stars as the view cannot be beat and you can swim in the pool or ocean.  You can get food and drinks but this place does not count as an "All-Inclusive Fancy Resort Day Pass".

Great beach experience 

We were at this property last year, this time it was completely different.  Before we enjoyed the infinity pool, bar service and great food service.  This time we had nachos because they didn't have half of what should have been offered.  Totally disappointed and will NEVER return. 

Totally disappointed 

We purchased all inclusive and the Lighthouse at Grand Lucayan and were told we had to check in and could only get food and drinks at the Prop Club. The employees said we could only order from a limited drink menu and eat from a buffet that didnt open until 11 am, which only served hamburgers, hotdogs, and sandwiches.  Do not andvertise all you can eat and drink then approach them with a limited menu! It was a very expensive $$$ day for bar food and limited drink drinks selections! The drinks were being made at a fold up table on the beach and there were around 5 choices. There was another menu you could order from but it would cost extra. The other menu had much better selections. My reservation email was for the Lighthouse and now my booking shows the Prop Club. 

Bait and Switch 

I have been to this resort before and loved it. However, the place they took us this time is down to beach and has none of the features or amenities of the Lighthouse at Grand Lucaya of last year. No beautiful pool, no restaurant, no resort. Just rows of chairs on the open beach. The drinks are mixed on a beach-side folding table and are terrible. The workers are great, but they truly have nothing to work with. 
This is now simply a chair on the beach. Granted, its a beautiful beach, but this is not the place I paid for.

We arrived that the lighthouse point after a $40 & 30 minute cab ride and told they "no longer are doing the day passes - take them to the prop club" - we were then dropped off at a restaurant that had a beach in front of it and NO OTHER PEOPLE. We asked the restaurant staff and were told that no food or beverages are included and we would need to pay for everything - we had already paid resort pass $125pp for an all inclusive day pass.
Luckily I was able to talk to the head chef of the restaurant who called over to the resort and walked us back over. Apparently they were trying to pawn us off on the prop club,  but when we protested, they did walk us back over to the resort. It took about 45 minutes to get it sorted out and we were only there for about 6 hours so that was definitely disappointing. Also there is NO TELEPHONE SUPPORT from Resort Pass - I finally was able to find a concierge email address. When the concierge did finally get back to me, we had already solved the issue.


Bait & switch?

We have been to this resort in the past and The beach is very clean. The staff at the restaurant was very friendly, but there was not much from an entertainment standpoint as in previous years. Seems like the whole area needs rejuvenating. Hopefully somebody will come in and take over this beautiful property and bring it back to what it used to be.
