W Dallas - Victory

Service at Wet bar was excellent by the 2 young ladies that were so patient. I was having trouble with my debit card but eventually solved the issue but they were very helpful instead of giving me an attitude. Since i went there to relax it was an added bonus that they didnt jump to conclusions and provided me with different options while I struggled! I would recommend the W for all year round hotel accommodations!

Friendly staff

The staff were very helpful and kind. They explained everything in detail and gave us a quick tour of the facility. 
Everyone we spoke with was very nice, from the valet parking to the front desk to the server who brought our lunch. 
This is a gorgeous hotel and the spa did not disappoint. I was a bit disappointed that there was no hot tub or cold plunge pool, but they have done a nice job with the space they have. 
The pool area is on the roof (16th floor, I believe) and it was very breezy. But the water is heated in the gorgeous infinity pool so you could enjoy a dip. 
You can order food to be delivered pool side, which was nice - though the food wasn't so great and really is more a reflection on the restaurant- not the spa. 
My massage was fabulous and I highly recommend. 
It was a bit pricey, but I thought it was worth it. 
This was my first Resort Pass use and I am looking forward to doing this again at another location. 

Lovely spa with wonderful staff

We paid $233 total on Saturday for NOTHING.
We showed up, the DJ was late, and when he did show up, the music was a joke, and not at all what I thought.
2 drinks cost me $37, auto gratuity added. The server had to look around for instructions to make the said $37 drinks, there are a total of 6 , yes I said SIX lounge chairs, no sun until wayyy late in the day.
because you are on the 16th floor, not the rooftop., the door person was playing on her phone the whole time and annoyed because I asked if there was another bathroom to use.
The list goes on and on and Im sooooooo angry that we WASTED money. Sooo disappointed would give this place a negative 5 stars 

HORRIBLE 

I really enjoyed my day pass at this location. Everyone was extremely helpful and nice, from valet to the bartenders at the pool. Everything was clean and the pool was very relaxing. 

Very relaxing 

The W hotel is a standard within itself and the Wet Deck did not disappoint.  Gorgeous views of the Dallas skyline and a beautiful infinity pool.  I was able to enjoy the day while working remotely pool side.  The pool side bar serves up some tasty drinks and food.  The location is great for Instagram photo opportunities. The pool was very relaxing and was only 3 people all day for the 6hours I was there.  I appreciated the experiences and served as a good reset. You would not be disappointed . 

Gorgeous View

If i could give it a zero, i would. Me and my husband purchased a day pass to the pool party. It was cool till we checked our bank statements and realized the 2 grimy women at the bar charged a $260.00 TIP on our card (which was way more than the actual bill). Everytime we called they keep brushing it off and giving us the run around. At this point I'm ready to file a police report!! This is fraud and a Class Action Lawsuit!!! Lord knows how many people they did this to and got away with it. They need to do better and hire better people!!!

Unauthorized tip charge

The service at the roof top deck was great but the clientele and cleanliness of the facility were not what I would have expected.  Someone spit chewing tobacco on the ground and it sat there the entire time we were there.  The whole pool area was a little dirty.  The staff on the rooftop were great however, when we were done we went to the lobby bar to have a drink and sat for 18 minutes with no service. Bartender initially said she would get us water and come right back to take our order and she never addressed us again.  Told the hostesses as we were walking out how bad the service was, or lack thereof, and they just stared at us without saying a word.

Trashy

We went on a Monday and despite the hotel telling us over the phone that the pool bar would be open, it wasnt. It is only open Thursday-Sunday. The manager at the front desk assured us we could order room service from the pool phone but after calling multiple times, no food or drink ever arrived. The pool rules stated no outside food and drink but there were others at the pool with their own food, drinks, glass bottles, and even a dog who they allowed inside the pool. There wasnt even water available at the pool so we had to go up to the fitness area to get bottles of water.  On a positive note, the pool and seating area was completely shaded until mid afternoon, which is what we were hoping for on a very hot day. We stayed cool and comfortable the whole day.  

Hit and miss 

Completely shaded area with the loungers, the pool was very cloudy, and not one person from the bar or pool wait staff seemed to be interested in offering assistance. It was a very disappointing experience, to say the least. 

Do not recommend
