I was very disappointed with our experience at the Westin. The pool was completely overcrowded and many people were getting out of hand, so much that security had to come to kick people out. It did not have the family vibe we were hoping for. Also the maximum capacity at the cabanas was not regulated at all. The cabana next to us had at least double the maximum capacity which then crowded into our space.

We got a cabana and wanted to relax while our kids used the slides. We did that! Our server was great! 
Why only fours stars you ask, the pool water was kind of murky and one of the guests mentioned that they heard the filter was broken. The water slides opened late and the lifeguard was not really watching or saving kids from getting smoked by standing in front of the two slide exits, I grabbed at least two little ones out of the way of being mowed over. 
The cabana could have been cleaner but for the price and being that we accomplished what we had set out to do, it was really good! 

It was good for what we needed 

This is a great pool with amazing waterslides. The front desk staff at the Westin were very courteous and very helpful, the pool staff not so much. I would like to acknowledge the lovely young lady who works in the Dippin Dots/pool supply stand who was so very helpful and provided excellent customer service.  Otherwise, it was almost impossible to find a server to get a drink or food, the food took forever, was overcooked and overpriced. Probably the most frustrating part was the fact that the waterslides were closed for over an hour during lunch.  On a 120 degree day, giving the staff a break is vital, however, it seems it would be wise to have someone else cover the lunch break as the slides are a favorite.

Small pool, service was great.  Pool was closed  at 1pm because someone threw up elotes all over the pool deck.  The pool never opened again for the rest of the day.  

Puke in pool

Kids had a blast at the pool. They made friends, played ball, and went down the slides most of the day. Everyone was so friendly and our cabana server was amazing and made sure our family was always comfortable with food and drinks. She was very kind.  

Great FAMILY Time

Been multiple times- easy check in, weekends are crowded. Waitstaff very hard to get a hold of, but friendly.
