The Wayback

This was a lovely, fairly peaceful spot for a relaxing day by the pool. The staff was very attentive, and the food was good. I went on a weekday with friends, and the pool quickly became crowded with not enough chairs. I also left with multiple chigger bites, likely due to the chairs being in grass.

We were in need of a quiet relaxing pool day after a hectic week.  The Wayback was perfect!  The pool was peaceful and everyone was so sweet.  

Just what we needed

We were lucky enough to get the pool all to ourselves the entire stay. This place is so quaint, perfect for a relaxing daycation. The pool is small but I love that its saltwater. The food from the cafe was delicious and the staff was great. The only thing Id change is its proximity to the road. You hear all the cars zipping by all day. But other than that, it was such a relaxing time and the music they played was great (mix of Motown and oldies)

My daughter and I enjoyed our resort day at this lil boutique community. We enjoyed the ambiance, umbrellas, cool water, and pool service, and towels provided. We split the Cesar salad and Bacon, Lettuce, avocado, and tomato sandwiche, which is one of the best we ever had.  It was just us and another couple. I imagine if all the chairs were taken it might feel a bit crowded.

Great spot for a laid-back pool day. This property is so quaint, you'll be charmed by the cottages and restaurant. Delicious lunch and cocktails. Would def revisit! 

Loved this charming spot

The Wayback is on a beautiful, peaceful piece of property. I chose it as a relaxed place to unwind and catch up with a close friend for my birthday and it was perfect. The GM and staff were friendly and attentive, the pool was beautiful with plenty of shade in the morning and the food/drinks from the cafe were delicious. The perfect birthday treat!

Note the time on your reservation; the entire property closes at 3PM on Sundays. We were there the whole time from 10-3 and it was perfect. The pool chairs were in full sun by the late afternoon and getting hot, so it was the perfect time to pack up and head out.

Quiet Sanctuary

My gf and I enjoyed our lady date to Wayback Boutique Hotel pool. I love that its salt water as its much better for your skin than chlorine. The cafe onsite is delish too! The service was top notch! Brandon did a great job and the GM is from a city very close to where I grew up! 

If you're looking for a private, exclusive-ish day-cation, look no further! The music is not mainstream and is very jazzy and blues. The scenery is very lush. You dont feel like you're right off the highway. 

Quaint & Secluded 

The pool is so tiny and service ends at 3. The bar service was great but the whole experience was just a bit odd since it was so small and too quiet.

What a great way to beat the Texas heatwave. Lovely time, nice and quiet escape. Staff was delightful. Drinks and food were great. The vibe is chill and relaxed and just what we were looking for.  Note on Sundays they close the pool and cafe down at 3pm. 

Wayback Is Fantastic
