To whom it may concern,

I am requesting a refund in full or credit to Resortpass for my experience at my booking at the Renaissance North Dallas.

It was not a relaxing experience to say the very least. I went to the hotel and the only pleasant experience was check in at the front desk.

When I arrived at the pool it was a bunch of children in the pool yelling and playing pool volleyball with a soccer ball. Upon entry, the soccer ball hit me in the head and wasted my complimentary drink.

I was there for less than fifteen minutes sunbathing when another group of children entering who were diving and screaming as well.

I then gathered my things and left because this was not an experience that I was expecting for a sunset pass experience.

I am disappointed and would love to try another location however Im unsure what the refund policy is and what to ensure this situation is mitigated well before booking again.

Unfortunately we got there, and the pool was closed, we were told they had to drain it and it needed to be shocked with chemicals, considering we drove 20 miles, I recommend to call them first prior to purchasing a pass, as there seems to be a lack of communication between the hotel and the company selling the passes.

Great experience

The pool area is nothing like the picture posted. All the plants are dead, the pool and surrounding area is very dirty. The pool was full of big giant dead mosquitoes. There is no food or drinks available pool side. (Or on property from 10:00am - 5:00) The restaurant and the bar at the pool do not open until 5 o’clock. There is a new manager, who is only been there a couple days and he is aware and is working on the issue. In the meantime, resort pass should not list Amenities that are not available. 

False presentation 

I truly enjoyed my time at Renaissance Dallas North. I had an issue with my reservation and they assisted me in getting it corrected and this did take a moment but this was not their fault.  

CUSTOMER SERVICE
The person at the Front Desk was very nice and efficient. I was escorted to the pool area by a staff person and I felt that this was like royalty treatment.

AMBIANCE
The pool itself was really nice and has an occupancy of only 19 people in the pool that it. Pool is 3-5 feet and it perfect for lounging in. There is a ledge you can sit on around an edge as well as a nice little fountain like feature. There is a handicap equipment which I thought it is great but I do not know if it is working or not. This pool was perfect for my physical therapy and the pool temperature was perfect. There are free towels to use.
FOOD
I had black bean hummus and it was seasoned perfectly and I ate it poolside.
RESTROOM
The restrooms are close to the pool itself and well maintained. 

Treated like ROYALTY!

The hotel is nice and the pool area could be great but it isn't well-attended...trash everywhere. Memorial Day Weekend there was no bar service, even in doors. I spoke with the pool manager and it was his 2nd day. He indicated he was trying to implement changes.  It's a bit hard to get to but parking was free and it was worth the cost of the pass.

unrealized potential

I enjoyed my day just fine. It was closer than the other Dallas resorts for me because I came from Fort Worth. Next time I'll spend more money to go somewhere a little fancier. Or I'll drive a little farther out to get a nicer resort.
