PACIFIC 19 Kona

We opted for a daypass at Pacific 19 and were pleasantly surprised with an offer of free drinks on our arrival. The hotel is clean, in a great part of Kona (so easy to walk around), had free parking, and was a great option to help us have a place to rest before our evening flight back home. We enjoyed our stay!

Great location and relaxing daypass option

I don't know if the hotel only use those rooms by the pools for the day rooms.  If that is the case, it won't be a good fit if you prefer quieter setting.  There was a pool party when we were there, right outside our room.  There was no rest until 5pm, and we had to leave by 6pm.  
We loved everything else about the hotel.  So be sure to check first if you want to book.

Check before booking

Hotel room is small but cozy. It is right next to main area and shops. It is missing tv, but has the other amenities. Extra star for being pet friendly with a good balcony. 

Dog friendly and great location

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on  daycation while we were waiting for an evening flight out of Kona. It worked perfectly! We checked in just after 10am and enjoyed the room and airconditioning. The pool was beautiful with great towels and things to do. The Kona Village Inn shoping area was just a 5 minute walk away, so I was able to complete all my shopping and had lunch, too. All in all, a nice place to hang out for a daycation.

Pleasant boutique hotel ambiance.

Room was clean and front desk staff was very friendly.   Pool is not huge but it was fine for a few hours.  Walking distance to Kona Brewing and restaurants.   This was a good place for us to wait out the hours before a late flight.  

Good spot to wait for late flight 

We wanted a hotel for the day because our flight was at 11 pm. This was the only hotel on the west side of the island that offered that. It was worth for use of all the amenities - pool, beach chair, towels and even two drinks from the mini-fridge. The area is filled with restaurants and some shopping. Check in and out waa easy and staff was helpful. 

Cute and comfortable

We had 12 hours to kill between condo check out and our flight. I was so happy to learn that Pacific 19 had rooms available for daytime only. The location is great; the staff is friendly and helpful; the room has everything you need, including a clothes steamer, drinks, etc.; the pool has nice lounges, towels, floats and ice water; there was a food truck and live music on Saturday; putting a drying rack on the balcony was genius; and I could go on. Do not hesitate to book a room here!

Daycation at P19

We booked a day room because our Waikoloa Condo had an 11:00 AM checkout and our flight was at 10:30 PM
We needed someplace to hang out, relax and have home base during our last day prior to our flight. The hotel was nice, well located, it was clean with an impeccable bathroom.  Our only complains were no TV in the room and the bedspread had a questionable small spot on one of the corners. Pacific19 please check linens carefully. 

Clean rooms, great location

We had to check out of our vacation condo but our flight wasn't until later in the evening.  We were able to book a Day Room at Pacific 19 to have a landing space for the day.  It was very comfortable, we walked to the beach close by, was able to get showers and a nap before heading to the airport.
