Marenas Beach Resort

The Staff in the hotel were all very nice and helpful. The Hotel is doing repairs even as the visitors enjoy the amenities, putting grout on the payment in the hot tub area and roping it off as we were in the hot tub, by the way, the water in the regular pool was hotter than the hot tub. exits were not working, and some places were difficult to get to. We never figured out where the sauna was.

Nice Staff

This resort is excellent. The personnel are very friendly and helpful.
We stayed in the hotel two years ago and we loved so much, that we get this pass to be able to spend a day in the beach in a place that you know is secured and you can relax.

Great location

The staff, hotel amenities and location were incredible!! From the moment we arrived until the time we left, the entire staff were so accommodating. Definitely stay at  Marenas Resort , you wont be disappointed!

Absolutely Amazing!

Can't complain too much. Bought a daypass til time between the hours after arriving in at the cruise port until our evening flight. The dayroom was clean, just a bit dated. But it was all the we needed. The beach was nice and we were able to get very close to the water with out loungers and umbrella. The staff was a bit lazy (the young boys passing out towels and arranging your loungers). Didn't seem to want to get off their phones and work. The guy working at the bar in the pool area was extremely kind just overworked. He needed help. Between delivering meals to guests on the beach and working at the bar, he was doing way too much for one person. It didn't make sense that you had to turn in your towel prior to leaving the sanded beach and walking into the pool area where the shower was. This left you to have to walk dripping wet through the hotel. I can't say that the resort is in a good location as far as surrounding restaurants. Other than that, it was good for what we needed.

Great for the cost

Upon arrival, we were greeted by welcoming staff. The resort is very clean. Getting to the pool and beach is very easy and does not require a far walk. I did not like the fact that each person was on top of each other when seated at the beach. We could hear everyones conversations and quite hard to move around people without accidentally kicking sand on them. On top of that, there is construction right next door so you can hear the lovely drilling throughout your beach stay. I would've at least appreciated a heads up from staff or at least a memo on resort pass like other resorts have done. 

Nice resort, but could've been better 

Hotel is clean and beautiful. Staff are friendly. Pool area is small. Service was slow at the beach. 

Nic hotel with great ocean views

The beach and location was wonderful! It was was overcrowded and service was not the best. Took over 30 minutes to get a beach chair and they ran out of umbrellas.  The one bedroom suite was perfect for our family and very cozy.   They need more staff and also some supervision at the pool with kids running and jumping in every 3 seconds which was kind of obnoxious and i have 2 kids myself.

Great day!

Very impressed with the hotel, from the moment our Uber pulled up the staff at the hotel made it feel as if we were VIP guests, luggage service all the way to our room. The room was everything I expected and more! I was not expecting such a glorious view or the beach,ocean and BAY on the balcony plus it made for the perfect place to catch the last hour or two of sun of the day when the beach becomes gray from the hotels blocking out the Sun rays. John John and his crew at the towel hut also go out of their way to make you feel special, Mario set me up multiple times in the beach after I had left and decided to come back, his smile was so genuine it spread into his eyes and was captivating and addictive and I couldnt help staring into them and feeling warmth, welcomed and appreciated. I definitely am happy I had decided to cancel my south beach stay and chose to visit Marenas Beach Resort instead.
