It has great slides, a nice (though narrow) lazy river, good size pools, is well maintained, and good/bar service was excellent. The cabana we rented was well-equipped, had nice furnishings, and a fridge.
The only thing that could have been better is if our plates/cups/cans could have been picked up -after lunch. They remained near the cabana until we left close to 4pm. 

Staycation

In FL there is no shortage of beach hotels with poolside cabanas.. we've been to a few. This was not a cabana experience. Its an open area with a couple sodas and a couple chairs. For the cost, do yourself a favor and book the Ritz or Naples Grande. The value just isnt worth it here. The service is lackluster, the amenities and cabana experience are almost non-existent. Just get the chairs and enjoy the slides, this is absolutely not worth the cost. You will be treated the same in both places and you get no umbrella for your lounge chairs. Its a good place for kids with the pools and slides, but manage your expectations if you see the words luxury or cabana. 

Overpriced for what you get.

We stayed at their sister property a few minutes away and couldn't pass up the opportunity to splurge on a cabana experience at this wonderful resort. We were greeted immediately and escorted to our area. The resort had tons of non-water activities (Plastic Axe throwing, putting and chipping (island) greens, and cornhole, and rock climbing for the kids (wasn't open that day). However, we were there to take advantage of multiple pools, multiple slides, and their lazy river. Our kids climbed those stairs over and over. One of the slides had an 800lb rating, so if your on the bigger side like us or want family tandems, you can.  The lazy river was more modern, so we preferred the natural look of the lazy river at HVC Coconut Cove. The waterfall view of the main pool was stunning and refreshing. The resort and area was immaculate and the staff took very good care of our needs.  We may have found a new getaway attraction as this is only three hours from us and worth a weekend trip.
