Hyatt Place Aruba Airport

Very easy and useful experience. Stayed at the Hyatt for about 5 or 6 hours after dropping off hire care and waiting for out flight. I got to use the gym, the pool, have lunch and have a few beers. Helped make our final hours on Aruba very pleasant. Highly recommended!

Beside airport, used waiting for flight.

Basically the only advantage was the proximity to the airport. If you take the attitude of some of the staff for granted, it's convenient to take a day pass. 

Proximity outweighs incompetence

The next time I go back to Aruba I will not be purchasing a day pass. I wouldn't even recommend staying at this hotel. The front desk staff has issues with communicate. I called front desk to order room service that never came. I went to the lobby and the receptionist informed me that he was unable to reach the room. I was in the room the entire time and the phone didnt ring once. Its really unfortunate because if I didnt make my way to the lobby I would have never known that my food was not being made. I had to leave the hotel shortly after so I never got to have lunch at the hotel. Very disappointing experience especially because the day rooms are not cheap. Also there is only one working elevator and taking the stairs is risky because the floor doors are locked. The experience was not worth the cost.  

Terrible hotel 

It was my first time in Aruba and therefore wanted to have an enjoyable day at the Hyatt. There was no entertainment only a pool. You were given a $25 voucher, however it was not clearly explained that this voucher is all value of the food available. I spent $91 including taxes for 2 day passes and got breakfast for $22 from the voucher. Terrible 

Awful Experience 

Used the daycation to wait for our evening flight and rather than sit at airport for hours we were able to relax at pool have a good breakfast and shower before flight it worked out perfect as airport was a short walk from hotel

Relaxing 

The hotel itself is beautiful however the workers and staff are some of the most incompetent lazy people I’ve ever met .I wanted to order food and the lady at the cash processed to say oh let me find someone who can cook the food as the chef had gone home secondly the drinks were terrible again I was told there were no bartenders on sight so no one could make my drink ?? I had to settle for the most disgusting drinks .The food is also very bland .Honestly save your money  and go elsewhere 0/10 

Terrible experience 

Do not book. Food is simply terrible i dont know  why all these reviews say it’s good… maybe they have recently changed things up , who knows. We got the one day resort pass to use since we had a late flight and early check in at our previous resort. They gave a $25 voucher to 3 different restaurants that all ended up being the same restaurant. Therefore it was false advertising.

Excellent place to kill 6-8 hours before a flight, when arriving on a cruise ship

Great location walking distance to airport 

We stayed here for about 4 hours after our cruise and before our flight. There are plenty of quiet sitting areas with places to charge devices. It is a very short walk to airport terminal.
