They closed an hour early on us. They said it was our fault for booking through a third party.  I said that I like your platform. BUMMER

The area is nice.  Concierge was not friendly. The pool bar was limited. Staff was very nice. I would not recommend as the chairs are limited.

Pictures are deceiving. 

Ive been coming to Hana Hotel for over 15 years, was excited for the day pass until I got there.  Seems like the Hana Hotel is on its last gasp.  Broken Hot tub, heated pool not heated.  Staff seem downtrodden.  (Not their fault) 

Sad to say

Peaceful. Minimal amenities, but the outdoor tub and loungers to enjoy sunshine was more than a girl could ask for. When it got chilly, loved the blankets and tea in the lounge. 

Beautiful place to spend the day

I spent Christmas Day 2022 in Hana at the Spa at Hana-Maui Resort. 

On the plus side....The location is green and pretty, there is plenty of space for quiet and privacy, and the staff member I interacted with was lovely and capable. Also, the locker room and sitting room are both great.

In terms of room for improvement, a few things to know:
1) The swimming pool is not included for Resort Pass Customers, so that's a huge bummer.
2) The therapy pool is just an air-temperature tub with nothing going on in it - nothing therapeutic is evident and it didn't look appealing.
3) The cold plunge pool is located right next to the Sauna - which is currently not working.

This meant that the only real water for me was the hot tub, which is beautiful but just one option.

I think that they are planning a big renovation which will surely address these shortcomings. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it with the understanding of the limitations above.
