The property is STUNNING however be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes for a drink or any pool side service. We got a discount on this and it was still $140 plus all food and beverage. Only the relaxation pool was included with this pass and it was anything but relaxing. Drunk people that were loud and screaming over a game, there was supposed to be no children allowed and there were 3 at the pool 2 that sent next to me.  They were only there for a hour but it was still not the day that we had hoped for. We also ordered a refreshing tuna poke for by the pool and requested more chips or pita and they waited 20 minutes before telling us that they didn't have them and it sat out in the sun and turned brown and was no longer edible. After showing irritation they did remove it but this was not the relaxing lux experience that was promised. The pool was stunning and the spa staff were wonderful, I wish that they weren't fully committed for a service that day. 

Great day not the best service

This is a great property, fantastic service, and good restaurant options. The biggest drawback is booking and not actually having chairs allocated. Its first come first serve so we waited a while till we actually found chairs. The first hour of this we were wondering why we just paid nearly $300. Secondly, we are not kid people and wow, lots of loud children so unless you have headphones, dont expect to relax. 

Do have the huevos rancheros and the smash burger. Do take a stroll through the property. Do enjoy the scenery. 

Great Property - process need work

The daybed experience is great-- it's almost as large as a typical cabana. Great service and food.

Luxury Experience 

Everything was wonderful. Food, drinks, pool. Menu was limited but food was delicious. Could get crowded easily. 

Perfect day 

We had an amazing experience at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar using a day pass for their pool. The pool area was beautifully maintained, offering a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our day. The amenities were top-notch, and the overall ambiance of the resort made it a perfect getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to spend a day in a serene and upscale environment!


Poolside luxury

From the complimentary valet to our departure late afternoon, this was just what a resort pass should be. Beautiful grounds, attentive and engaging staff, beautiful pool and facilities  Even the poolside food was excellent.

What a wonderful day!

I love kids.  They're great. However, when I want to relax with my girlfriend I Would rather not be around them. I know I must sound like a monster.. sorry.  The staff did an amazing job to make the day absolutely wonderful.  But they had to break some rules.  It may need to be made more clear when you book a daybed that its in the main pool area where kids might be occupying the only hot tub with their floaties.. 
After being led to the adult only spa pool we were finally able to start our day.  Thanks to great staff, more details from ResortPass would be nice.  

Exceptional service-(not so Serene) 

The pool and jacuzzi at the Fairmont Del Mar were exceptional! Both were impeccably maintained, providing a pristine and inviting environment. The water was crystal clear, and the temperature was just perfect for a relaxing soak. These amenities added a touch of luxury and relaxation that made our experience.

Amazing 

We had a great experience here. Easy valet, beautiful resort grounds, the pool was clean, beautiful and warm, the staff were kind, helpful, and attentive. We came with our 2 young kids and did a daybed. The regular chairs looked comfy and there were plenty, but the daybed was so comfy and roomy and we could draw the curtains for the kids to nap. We came on Wednesday, but its spring break so it was a little busy. We still had plenty of space to play in the pools and while the hot tub is small, we were able to use it whenever we wanted to. There is a 1 ft shallow pool for little kids, which was a hit with my toddler. We will definitely be back!
