Spend the day in the heart of the excitement and only one block away from Rainey Street. Soak up the Austin sunshine at the pool, enjoy live music  and cocktails at the rooftop lounge, or grab a bite to eat at the signature restaurant before heading into the city for more entertainment.

Cambria Hotel Austin Downtown

The hostess was extremely rude and took no effort in telling us where anything was, procedures, amenities, nothing. The advertised pool F&B service was a joke as there was none. I went inside to try and order drinks and turns out the person behind the bar was not a bartender and she attempted to make us margaritas, which consisted of a cup of sour margarita mix, no ice, and a quarter lime to the tune of $32. I went back in to ask for canned beer instead and luckily a nice gentleman running around with some paperwork remade the margaritas for us. We were told there was no bartender until 2:30 and that you have to come inside to order each time. When we tried to close our tab the same lady actually asked me to look at the computer and help her because she didnt know how!! Luckily we had the pool to ourselves but it reeked of trash outside because the alleyway below the pool deck is where all the bars dumpsters are. There was also tons of construction noise, so overall not a great time.
