Boar's Head Resort

The resort staff was courteous and helpful.  The only reason I gave less than a 5-star review is because the more expensive pass I purchased should have given me access to the spa pool which is adult only.  Instead, I was told that I needed to go to the family friendly pool which was a bit too loud for me with all the children's activities.  After my visit I re-read the specifics and confirmed that the resort pass should have included all spa access too so next time I will insist on getting into that adult only pool!  Overall, still a good experience. 

Beautiful pool and friendly environment

Easy process. Nice way to spend an afternoon by the pool. 

Friendy

The staff was very nice and the grounds were pretty. It is a small pool. I had to wait an hour and a half in the spas lounge area before a chair opened up for me at the pool. Since there are such limited chairs and umbrellas, I think they should limit the number of guests for the pool. The pool was very crowded.  After having lunch which was good, I didnt even go into the pool at all. The spa shower, locker room, and amenities were nice. The spa shower, locker room, and amenities were convenient and clean, albeit tight quarters. The women were bumping into each other getting dressed. I would have had a better time if there were less people. I expected a Holiday crowd, but it was more extreme than I thought it would be. I heard the pool at the sports club was closing and thatsI expected a Holiday crowd, but it was more extreme than I thought it would be. I heard the pool at the sports club was being renovated and thats why it was doubly crowded.

Not enough umbrellas 

We loved our day at the Boar's Head Resort. Lots of lovely amenities and a gracious staff. The pool was great.

Excellent experience

Great pools, lunch was varied and delicious and we even shared a bottle of wine. Clean and beautiful!

Great Location 

This place is quite spectacular. If you are into anything fitness-related this is the place for a day-pass. Spent some time in the adults-only pool but also enjoyed the outdoor lap pool and cabanas. Great fitness center and unlimited racket sports w/ clay and hard courts indoor and outdoor. Staff were nice. Bar on site was stacked and actually quite reasonably priced. Easy parking and staff treated us as normal guests. 

Awesome Place

A friend and I had a few hours before we needed to be at the airport so we booked the Spa pass. The staff was incredibly friendly and the pool was wonderful. They provided lockers to store your things as well as towels, robes and shoes to use. The pool had plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. 

So relaxing!

My husband and I had a really nice time relaxing by the pool. Water was warm and not too many people. The spa facility is gorgeous and very calming as well. 

Relaxing experience 

We had a lovely day enjoying the hiking trails and the pool, as well as a snack at the cafe. The staff was all courteous and it felt like a real treat.  There were a lot more amenities that we could have used, so maybe we'll do more next time.

Lovely Treat

When we purchased the pass, we were worried about how the staff would perceive us.  From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like regular members of the club.  They were welcoming and helpful.  The facilities are first class and very enjoyable.
