The Viv Hotel Anaheim

We had a great time. The food was good, the weather was perfect, and there was plenty of chairs available. 

Great location. 

Love that they offer free alcoholic drinks with the purchase of the pass. I've come to this hotel probably 10 times and the adult rooftop pool is always so peaceful and never crowded. Most hotel guests are coming for Disneyland so they tend to have children in their party and don't use the adult pool. They also offer poolside service for food and drinks and the food at this hotel is pretty good. Also, you can see the Disney fireworks at night. The Viv is definitely Anaheim's best kept secret. 

Best Resort Pass Hotel in Anaheim

We recently had a fantastic experience using a day pass for standard pool access at The Viv Anaheim. Although the pool was crowded, we opted to upgrade to a cabana and were delighted with our choice. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness stood out, particularly Adam at the bell desk and our cabana server, Rick, who both exceeded our expectations.

Having tried resort passes at several other local hotels, some with higher ratings, The Viv Anaheim has become our favorite. Our toddler enjoyed the amenities, and we appreciated how kid-friendly the environment was. We also discovered that this hotel is part of the Marriott group, and based on this excellent experience, Marriott may have just won our loyalty from another hotel chain.

Exceptional Family-Friendly Pool Experience

No pool service as advertised. Images look way better than the place. Restaurant on site had overpriced and bad food. Staff nowhere to be seen.

The hotel was so nice I loved it, we booked the day pass for Mothers Day and Im glad we did the staff was very welcoming & everything was clean and nice, the check in process was a breeze and very quick and easy they even gave a two complementary drink vouchers 

Had so much fun 

Ive been here probably over 10 times. Its the best pool/hotel in the area. Bummed that the jacuzzi wasnt working this last time but hopefully they fix it soon. 

Great place - wished the jacuzzis were working

This was by far my favorite resort ive booked. The hotel is really beautiful & disney themed. The staff was really nice and gave me a free goodie bag. I got the adult pool pass which was nice because it was empty but a family did come in later? The view from the pool was beautiful & you can see Disneyland upstairs. I liked how they had a restroom next to the pool that had a shower inside. Definitely 10/10 worth every cent

Amazing Place

The Viv is a lovely hotel near Disneyland. We needed to kill a few hours so after a lot of research we decided to do our first resort pass at The Viv. Parking was cheap and easy. The front desk people were nice and walked us to the pool where we had a choice of cabanas. All were pretty dusty but we just brushed it clean. It being off season, the pool was pretty empty and quiet which was nice. The jacuzzi was unfortunately closed with ugly caution tape. We ate lunch, had drinks and hung out for a few hours. It was nice. 

Pros: cheap/easy parking, staff was very polite and attentive, pool was clean and not crowded. The hotel was pretty and had some cute Halloween decor. We got everything included in our report pass (waters, 4 drinks, a cabana, access to other pool that we didnt use since we had our baby)

Cons: cabana was dusty, staff seemed unfamiliar with the resort pass and had to look everything up, the jacuzzi was closed even to the surprise of the staff. Some Highway noise. 

Nice staycation

The location is close to home and close to many other touristy spots. The pools are clean and the check-in was easy and super helpful. The service at the pool was not as great. There needs to be faster service.  I waited almost 20 minutes at the pool bar for a draft beer.  I know this because my friend ordered a mixed drink that took another 10 minutes.  I should of just waited to order my beer after the mixed drink. If they improve the service at the pool, I would definitely recommend. 

Super Convenient 

The service was excellent. The cabana was also stocked really well with the deluxe package. The hotel does sit next to the freeway so the noise level was more than expected. If traffic noise bothers, you, maybe reserve the rooftop pool.
