Hotel Van Zandt

Paid for a Cabana day pass.  There was no one there to greet us, didn't know which cabana was ours. They were understaffed (the server there was great, but wasn't enough). When one of us had to use the bathroom,  you exit the pool area, but can't get back in due to needed a key card.  Many of us waited to get let back in.  Seemed a little unorganized and unwelcoming.

Extremely full. Too many kids and not enough seating. Drinks and food was expensive. The valet discount is only 3 hours.  Compared to the description, there are much nicer places. The hotel is also under construction, so the interior is a mess. 

Too many people

Hotel Van Zandt is objectively gorgeous, but this experience didn't quite deliver. The TV in our cabana couldn't load any channels, the number of children in this pool was excessive, and the view shown in pictures is now blocked by a parking garage. Cabana service was intermittent, but excellent when we could get it. Will likely not book again.

Crowded but not insane the Sunday we were there. Were able to grab 2 chairs with an umbrella. Pool bar is great and convenient. Didnt get food but menu looked tasty! Towels, sunscreen provided

Nice pool and service 

The pool and cabana were nice. The pool is a little small. You get valet parking for $15.

Perfect Pool Day

We love this rooftop pool, it was just the right size and the temperature stayed perfect all day!  We got red carpet service from the wonderful, lovely waitress whose name unfortunately escapes me.  Maybe Shelley?  The food and drinks were perfect, and she went above and beyond in bringing us extra buckets of ice to keep our poolside drinks nice and cold.  Wonderful girlfriends' hangout day, felt like a retreat within the city!

Wonderful Pool Day

Pool was nice, not super crowded but we rented a day bed and the waitress barely came by. She probably took at least 45 minutes between rounds and only came over when we flagged her down. Not worth paying for a daybed when the chairs got better service.
