We love using the pool at the Sandman. Always clean, friendly staff and an awesome hot tub. We will definitely be back!

Awesome pool!

The hotel was good but I paid a room for 2 hours! The room wasnt ready on time and the checkout was 2 hours after. 

Nice pool but the room was not ready until 5pm! t

Check in was easy and pleasant. Clean and retro decorative. No issues. Plenty of parking. Large facility 

Pool area is gated

Very small bar with small beer, wine and delicious cocktails ($10-12)
No food options so you can bring outside foods which majority did; coolers, MacDonalds etc

Pool is not heated so on a very hot day it will be refreshing. It was dirty and obvious. Reason for 4 star. You could bring (large) pool floaties.

Bar was manned by young attendant who was outgoing and friendly. BONUS would be food options. Card only no cash

People were respectful. Yes families with kids, not spa/resort like but maybe mid week. Bar may not be open.

I would return for price and ability to bring in food. 


Small, quaint and pricing

This hotel has been in Santa Rosa for years.. great location and has a nice sized pool. My husband and I did a resort pass pool day and it was great! The pool bar is super cute and has nice decor. There were quite a few people at the pool but everyone seemed to respect each others space. We will be booking more days here! 

Ideal Location! 

The folks at the reception didn't know how to check me in and were rude.  The pool was dirty and there were no towels. The bathrooms werent clean. Overall , not a good experience, not clean, nor relaxing, not a well run property and a very disappointing experience.

Had a seamless day at the pool! Staff was great and it was absolutely easy to check in and spend our entire time by the pool.

Easy & sunny poolside day

Great pool!

The pool was warm, not huge but big enough for everyone there. At first we couldn't find lounge chairs or shade, but after a little bit some space opened up. There was a kid's birthday party there and I think there must be a lot of families there usually, which worked for us (we brought a toddler), but if you're looking for an adults-only vibe, maybe come later or choose a different pool. That said, there were also groups of adults lounging around who seemed to be having a pretty good time!

Fun family+friends day at the pool

I just signed up for the ResortPass App and my daughter and I were looking for a place to swim and hang out for the day.  We found the Sandman which is close to our home.  Great place to hang out for the day.  We went on a Saturday at 1:00pm and it was pretty crowded, but people were in and out, so we got a spot within ten minutes.  Great pool, great location!!!  Staff was super nice.  Will definitely be back on hot days!!

Great Pool!

The pool & facilities were fine but despite being a lot of kids the was a lot of poor behavior by the adults. Loud music with tons of profanity & people were openly smoking drugs (thinks harder drugs than weed) at the pool. Hotel staff did nothing.
