Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina

I spent the day at the adult pool near the Lanai rooms and it was lovely.  The property has been remodeled on this end, so it has a very updated, modern but comfortable feel.  The service was exceptional.  Everyone was very attentive and nice.  Food and beverage were a bit pricey, but very good.  I also spent time in the outdoor restaurant which has a great, beachy feel and a view of the marina.  Overall a great experience!

New and Improved

The pools are gorgeous. The main pool is great but full of loud kids fortunately the smaller pool was empty just not as nice. We were unable to find the third pool. Were only had negative interactions with the staff, they were all in a bad mood or not very helpful. The valet refused to honor the free parking advertised on the listing, we had to pay $15 for self parking less than 5 hours with validation. Without validation parking is $50.

Great location next to the marina

A stop over during travel became a slice of paradise. The staff was amazing and the facility top notch. Highly recommend this jewel on the harbor. 

Bayside Bliss

So much fun to watch boats and jet skis from the pool area. The hot tub felt great after each swim. The personnel were all very friendly and helpful, and all the grounds were immaculate. This was the most perfect way to spend eight hours before heading to the airport. I mean, the airport provides good people-watching, but this was so much better! I even saw two weddings this evening. 

Great One-day Vacation

I rate this establishment as two out of five stars due to the lack of waiter attention. Initially, the manager, Edwin, provided clear instructions on where to meet, a gesture appreciated for its thoughtfulness. The closure of the main gym necessitated a lengthy trek to the secondary building, a inconvenience easily mitigated by driving. Meal orders were self-initiated before staff arrived at noon, an understandable protocol. The food quality met expectations. Our departure occurred at 5 pm, marking a 4.5-hour delay before a server finally inquired about our needs. Despite paying extra for exclusive daybed seating, I wouldn't recommend paying extra for the daybed. Simply occupy one; no one will ask you to relocate since no one checks on you. Construction activity was pervasive, with workers' presence detracting from the relaxation ambiance. Ultimately, our attempt to unwind was hampered by the lackluster service and environment, discouraging any future visits.

Chill place, but a lot of construction

This was a great experience. The pool area was clean and fully stocked with towels. The playlist was great and hot tub (while could have used a bit of a cleaning) was the perfect temperature. The pool was not what we would have called heated, but it was extremely clean and there was no chlorine smell. Low season, so no pool side service, but the bar staff was very friendly.  

Beautiful view

Perfect spot to spend the day while waiting for an evening flight.  Food service was next to the pool and it was relatively quiet being late in the season.

Peaceful, large pool

Only one pool was open (plus jacuzzi), noise from remodeling building on the same property, the gym with sauna need an update/upgrade. Best was 1 complimentary hour of free paddle boarding in the marina. 

Was okay

We werent informed that out of the 3 pools one was under repair, due to limited access it would have been nice to have been informed prior to purchasing the pass. The amenities looked very antiquated and the pools  were full of children running around, definitely did not make for a relaxing staycation. Due to being limited we had to make due with what was available, for paying 50$ it was not worth it.
